Job references are one of the most important criteria when considering a new employee. Generally, an employee is entitled to a professional reference. Besides personal data, the duration of employment and the reason for termination of the employment agreement, it also contains an assessment of the employee's performance and conduct. However, since the statements often are coded, it is difficult for a nonprofessional to assess a reference.
